PALESTINE BLEEDS RED, ZIONISM IS TO BLAME, COMPLICITY HAS A RUNWAY, SHANNON IS ITS NAME

Netanyahu is moving quickly with the violent theft of all of Palestine. He has free reign to do what he wants, or so he thinks. His friend, Trump backs him all the way.

The Israeli government has announced it will take all of the West Bank under its control. Its ruthless genocide on the people of Gaza has never stopped – and now Gaza’s  starved and sick population are being bombed again. There never was a ceasefire. Netanyahu was just playing for time.

A ‘two state solution’ was always a sick joke. While world leaders talk about it, Israel steals and kills.

And now a new method of terror – the death penalty for Palestinian prisoners. Often held without charge, disappeared, starved and tortured, they are facing execution.

Meanwhile the Irish government refuses to act. It is most definitely a puppet of US imperialism. Shannon airport is a stopover for Trump’s killing machine on its way to the Middle East. Even Trump’s rich buddies use it when carrying out his dirty work.

We cannot rely on the Irish government to stand up for Palestine. It’s up to us to fight, alongside those millions fighting globally for Palestine.

Boycott Israel, boycott Allianz, don’t stop fighting! Join us this Saturday on Grand Parade at 1:00pm.

National Demonstration for Palestine, Saturday 21st February
The next National Demonstration for Palestine will take place on Saturday 21st February in Dublin. As this will be the first national march of 2026, we are really encouraging our branches to mobilise people to come to Dublin for it. It’s especially important as the issue of Palestine continues to slide off the media and political agenda, with the non-existent ‘ceasefire’ being used to gaslight people into thinking the genocide is over and a ‘peace process’ is underway.

A delegation from the West Bank city of Nablus has paid a visit to Cork – welcomed by members of the Palestinian community here on Leeside.

Now the Mayor of Nablus, Dr Husam Shakhshir, has been taken on a tour of Cork City Hall, greeted with a harp performance and speaking with locals including writer Cónal Creedon and Izz Cafe proprietor Izzeddeen Alkarajeh and his wife, Eman Aburabi.
